About the Role
You will install operating systems, firmware, and software on end-of-line devices according to work instructions. You will diagnose software and hardware issues using logs and serial-terminal tools, execute end-of-line tests, upload test data, prepare reports, and rework software-related defects with hardware and software engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field
- Familiarity with Ubuntu and ROS2
- Ability to read software logs and basic English technical terms
- At least 3 years of testing, repair, or software-flashing experience in an electronics manufacturing environment
- Troubleshooting and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Flash, burn, and install operating systems, firmware, and software on end-of-line devices
- Diagnose software failures, hardware alerts, and anomalies
- Use log and serial-terminal tools to perform root-cause analysis and submit problem reports
- Execute end-of-line test procedures and inspect mechanical and functional failures
- Upload test data to the cloud and compile test reports
- Rework software-related defects through reflashing, restoring settings, and configuration changes
- Collaborate with hardware and software engineering teams on complex diagnostics
