About the Role
You will research reinforcement learning for robotics, including closed-loop RL and VLA post-training for dexterous manipulation. You will publish research with scientists and interns, then partner with engineers to test and deploy algorithms in autonomy and robotics products.
Requirements
- Strong research record in reinforcement learning and VLA post-training for robotics or autonomous systems
- Publications in top-tier computer vision, machine learning, or robotics conferences or journals
- MSc or PhD in machine learning, computer vision, robotics, autonomy, or a closely related field
- 1+ year of research experience in autonomy, self-driving, robotics, or a related field
- Python, PyTorch, computer vision, robotics systems, and distributed machine-learning training experience
Responsibilities
- Conduct reinforcement-learning research for robotics and dexterous manipulation
- Investigate fundamental reinforcement-learning topics
- Collaborate on publications for top-tier conferences
- Test and deploy algorithms with research engineers and engineering teams
