About the Role
You will research neural reconstruction and rendering methods for dynamic driving scenes. You will build scalable reconstruction and simulation systems, integrate models into distributed training and rendering pipelines, publish research, and mentor junior scientists and interns.
Requirements
- PhD in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Robotics, or a related field, or equivalent research experience
- Expert Python and PyTorch or JAX skills
- Software engineering fundamentals
- Experience with distributed training
- Experience building generative or predictive physical-world models for real-world applications
- Communication skills
Responsibilities
- Conduct research in neural reconstruction
- Develop 3DGS, NeRF, dynamic reconstruction, feed-forward reconstruction, and multi-sensor representation methods
- Build scalable reconstruction and simulation systems for dynamic urban scenes
- Integrate models into distributed training and rendering pipelines
- Publish research at leading conferences
- Mentor junior scientists and interns
- Track advances in neural rendering, 3D representation learning, differentiable rendering, and reconstruction
