You will apply computational chemistry methods across hit identification, lead optimization, and candidate selection. You will guide design cycles, develop computational workflows, partner with medicinal chemistry and machine-learning colleagues, propose molecular designs, and present results to internal teams and external partners.

Requirements

• PhD or equivalent degree in computational chemistry or a related field
• 2+ years of relevant drug discovery experience
• Experience supporting active small-molecule drug discovery programs
• Experience with ligand- and structure-based design tools
• Proficiency in Python for scientific computing, data analysis, and computational workflow development
• Written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Apply ligand- and structure-based approaches across hit identification and lead optimization
• Guide design cycles through SAR analysis and integration of computational predictions with bioactivity data
• Design, evaluate, and prioritize virtual libraries with medicinal chemists
• Partner with ML scientists to integrate structure-based drug design methods with property prediction technology
• Apply protein-ligand co-folding technology to generate structural hypotheses
• Translate scientific questions into computational workflows and actionable results
• Present methods, results, implications, and recommendations to internal teams and external partners
• Develop, validate, and maintain computational workflows and tools
