About the Role
You will set the humanoid robotics research agenda and conduct research on dexterous manipulation, world-action foundation models, and reinforcement learning. You will publish at leading venues, shape the technical direction, collaborate with engineers and product teams, and deploy manipulation policies to humanoid platforms.
Requirements
- 1+ years of industry research experience or a completed relevant postdoctoral program
- Strong research record in robotics, manipulation, robot learning, or related areas
- Publications in top-tier robotics conferences or journals
- PhD in machine learning, computer vision, robotics, or a closely related field
- Ability to operate independently as a senior individual contributor and set direction for others
Responsibilities
- Set and drive the humanoid robotics research agenda
- Conduct research on world-action foundation models and reinforcement learning
- Deliver manipulation policies for humanoid robotic systems
- Shape the technical direction and growth of the humanoid research effort
- Publish at top-tier robotics venues
- Collaborate with engineers and product teams to deploy work to humanoid platforms and dexterous hands
- Partner with senior researchers on autonomy and robotics problems
