About the Role

Write and optimize CUDA and Triton kernels for new AI efficiency methods, analyze performance across serving systems, productionize published methods, build measurement tools, and collaborate with the AI Cloud platform team to optimize inference on real hardware and traffic patterns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience in GPU programming, high-performance computing, or ML systems.
  • Proficiency in CUDA and/or Triton, with strong Python and C++.
  • Knowledge of GPU architecture and memory hierarchy.
  • Experience with Nsight Compute, Nsight Systems, or equivalent.
  • Experience optimizing inference-critical paths.
  • Ability to implement methods without reference implementations.
  • Experience with vLLM, SGLang, or TensorRT-LLM preferred.
  • Compiler or IR-level experience or distributed serving experience preferred.
  • Publications or substantial open-source contributions are welcome.

Responsibilities

  • Write and optimize CUDA and Triton kernels.
  • Analyze performance across the serving path, including roofline analysis and kernel attribution.
  • Productionize published AI efficiency methods.
  • Build performance measurement systems.
  • Collaborate with the AI Cloud platform team.
