About the Role
You will advance fine-tuning and frontier post-training techniques. You will translate research into training defaults, APIs, and cookbook recipes; improve the stability, efficiency, and reliability of large-scale fine-tuning and reinforcement-learning runs; and share findings through papers, technical posts, and community contributions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Physics, Mathematics, or a related discipline
- Proficiency in Python
- Familiarity with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX
- Ability to debug distributed training and write scalable code
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts in writing
Responsibilities
- Advance the science of fine-tuning and frontier post-training techniques
- Develop LoRA and parameter-efficient fine-tuning approaches
- Inform training defaults and primitives and codify best practices as recipes
- Improve the stability, efficiency, and reliability of large-scale fine-tuning and reinforcement-learning runs
- Share findings through papers, technical blog posts, and community contributions
