About the Role
Gain exposure to trading and technology while developing trading and investment strategies through project-based assignments. The 10-week internship involves market research, quantitative analysis, machine learning, risk management, and collaboration with traders, technologists, and quantitative researchers.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor's, master's, or PhD in mathematics, economics, physics, statistics, computer science, or an engineering-related field.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and August 2028.
- Advanced quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to apply quantitative skills in time-sensitive situations.
- Proficient programming in Python.
- Passion for financial markets.
- Strong communication skills.
- Self-motivated and comfortable with challenges, responsibility, and fast-paced competitive environments.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior traders, technologists, and quantitative researchers to develop and improve trading strategies.
- Identify and research market research projects using analytical tools.
- Curate and analyze macroeconomic data.
- Apply machine learning techniques to market tick data for automated trading.
- Track positions and calculate risk.
- Analyze theoretical values.
