Design, operate, and improve high-performance algorithmic trading strategies deployed on electronic trading venues worldwide. Learn trade floor operations through mentorship and training, integrate strategies into deployment and operation, and work with software engineers to enhance trading technology and market strategies.
Requirements
- Excellent academic background
- Hard sciences preferred, including physics, chemistry, engineering, mathematics, or statistics
- Outstanding quantitative problem-solving skills and mathematical aptitude
- Programming experience required; Python, SQL, Java, or C++ are a plus
- Ability to communicate information precisely and with agility
- Ability to identify issues and create solutions independently
- Ability to take initiative and work independently and within a team
- Prior trading, strategy game, or poker experience is helpful but not required
- No finance background is necessary
