About the Role
Bluesky Capital's Investment Management division uses statistical and machine-learning techniques on large datasets to identify profitable patterns and develop systematic investment and trading models.
Requirements
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Hands-on experience with Python or Matlab
- Knowledge of statistical tools and machine-learning techniques
- Creative thinking and passion for trading and challenging problems
- Ability to work independently on short- and long-term projects
- Knowledge of C++ and Linux
- Prior trading or investment management experience is preferred
- Prior experience with Chinese futures or stocks is preferred
Responsibilities
- Analyze data using statistical and machine-learning techniques to identify profitable patterns
- Retrieve and clean data from various exchanges
- Write production-quality code to integrate new trading strategies
- Monitor the performance of strategies deployed into production
