About the Role
You will build a quality-assurance framework for regulated on-chain financial systems from the ground up. You will turn agreed requirements and operating rules into traceable test cases, own independent acceptance testing, and automate execution in CI. You will design resilience, performance, security, and data-integrity testing; maintain auditable quality evidence; support UAT and release decisions; and establish shared QA processes, test standards, and evidence systems across projects.
Requirements
- Native-level Japanese reading ability for business rules, requirements documents, contracts, and terms
- English reading and writing ability for design documents, code reviews, and chat communication
- At least 3 years of QA or testing experience for core or mission-critical systems in banking, securities, trust, asset management, or payments
- Experience leading test planning, execution, and quality decisions
- Ability to read code, write automated tests, and integrate them into CI
- Experience designing tests for financial data integrity, including balances, trades, settlements, clearing, and reconciliation
Responsibilities
- Build and manage traceability between requirements, expected results, and tests
- Translate business rules and operating procedures into expected test outcomes
- Design tests for permissions, state transitions, accounting, and data integrity
- Identify ambiguous specifications and missing requirements early
- Design and operate implementation-independent acceptance tests
- Approve test changes, automate CI execution, and triage failures
- Design and execute fault-injection, performance, recovery, and negative tests
- Validate RTO, RPO, transaction atomicity, key management, and access controls
- Build continuously updated quality-evidence systems and phase-based quality reports
- Create and execute UAT scenarios with customer financial institutions
- Support review materials and track remediation for audits and security assessments
- Establish QA processes, test policies, quality standards, and shared testing infrastructure
- Coordinate with external partners, systems integrators, and customer stakeholders
