About the Role

You will design and build robust, scalable automation frameworks using Java and Selenium to test complex applications. Working closely with developers, product managers, and fellow QA engineers in an Agile environment, you'll create and maintain test scripts covering UI, API, integration, and regression testing. You'll lead automation efforts from the ground up, improving existing frameworks, analyzing test results, debugging issues, and collaborating with development teams to resolve defects, all while ensuring optimal test coverage and high quality standards.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in QA Automation with a strong focus on Java and Selenium WebDriver
  • Expertise in building custom frameworks from scratch (e.g., TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, BDD/TDD)
  • Strong understanding of OOPs concepts, Core Java, and design patterns in test automation
  • Proficient in handling complex DOM structures, dynamic elements, waits, and synchronization
  • Experience in REST API testing using tools like RestAssured, Postman, or similar
  • Hands-on with version control systems like Git
  • Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr)
  • Good exposure to Agile/Scrum environments
  • Experience in performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling
  • Exposure to cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs)
  • Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker
  • Experience with BDD tools like Cucumber, Serenity, etc.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and basic database testing

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop robust, scalable, and maintainable automation test frameworks using Java and Selenium
  • Work closely with developers, product managers, and QA engineers in an Agile environment
