About the Role

You will operate and improve facilities telemetry, alarms, controls integrations, and automation. You will lead incident response, build diagnostic and repair tooling, manage production deployments, and define readiness standards, SLOs, capacity plans, and recovery practices.

Requirements

• Carry a pager for production infrastructure and manage incidents through restoration, postmortem, and systemic fixes.
• Write production automation in Python, Go, or a similar language.
• Define service health, alerts, SLOs, and review rhythms.
• Debug failures across sensors, controllers, industrial protocols, data pipelines, APIs, dashboards, and operator workflows.
• Use infrastructure as code, Kubernetes, GitOps, deployment pipelines, and production data systems.
• Work with software engineers, controls engineers, field teams, vendors, and site operators.

Responsibilities

• Lead incidents involving facilities software, telemetry, controls integrations, and automation.
• Own reliability of the facilities telemetry and alarm platform.
• Build tooling for fleet-wide debugging, maintenance workflows, validation, incident response, and return to service.
• Manage production deployment and runtime operations for facilities services.
• Define production-readiness standards and build release gates, canaries, and rollback mechanisms.
• Establish SLOs, capacity plans, health dashboards, runbooks, escalation paths, and incident drills.
• Partner with engineering, field, vendor, and site-operation stakeholders.
