About the Role
As a Senior Product Quality Owner, you will be the guardian of product quality across multiple product lines and complex product areas. You will own and prioritize backlogs of bugs, risks, and improvements, lead triage with QA, Support, Product, and Engineering, and translate product features into clear projects with defined deliverables and milestones. You will validate and approve features before release, collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, designers, project managers, and product managers, and act as the main point of contact for quality standards, validation strategy, and testing expectations. You will also own internal product documentation, playbooks, and test case repositories, and support product operationalization by embedding new features into tools, reporting, and internal enablement.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in QA, product quality, or product ownership, ideally in SaaS environments
- Strong understanding of product lifecycles and testing practices, embedding quality across the delivery process
- Successfully led cross-functional delivery initiatives, influencing multiple teams or product domains
- Skilled at anticipating risks, spotting patterns in recurring defects, and proactively driving solutions
- Comfortable managing multiple quality backlogs and ensuring the most critical issues are addressed first
- Balance attention to detail with the bigger picture, validating usability and readiness while supporting business outcomes
- Track record of improving throughput by reducing defect leakage and strengthening release readiness
- Natural collaborator and mentor, able to raise the quality maturity of peers and foster a culture of proactive quality ownership
- Nice to have: experience in fintech or high-availability SaaS environments
- Nice to have: familiarity with observability tools and automated testing frameworks
- Nice to have: contributions to open-source testing or observability tools
Responsibilities
- Own and prioritize backlogs of bugs, risks, and improvements, ensuring critical issues are addressed first
- Lead the process of triaging, organizing, and ranking issues with inputs from QA, Support, Product, and Engineering
- Translate product features into clear projects with defined deliverables and milestones
- Validate and approve features before release, focusing on core flows, usability, and risk management
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, designers, project managers, and product managers to deliver high-quality experiences
- Act as the main point of contact for quality standards, validation strategy, and testing expectations across teams
- Own the cohesion, accuracy, and ongoing updates of internal product documentation, playbooks, and test case repositories
- Support product operationalization by embedding new features into tools, reporting, and internal enablement
