About the Role
You will guide bank engineering teams through API integrations, design sandbox flows, debug webhooks, and create bank-specific test plans. You will advise on wallet integration and administration, own each bank's path to production, resolve technical escalations, share integration feedback with product and engineering, and build reusable integration guides, runbooks, test plans, and reference implementations.
Requirements
- U.S.-based with ability to travel up to 25%
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years in integration engineering, solutions engineering, technical implementation, or developer-facing professional services
- Experience serving banks, regulated financial institutions, or fintech infrastructure
- Strong hands-on technical fluency with RESTful APIs
- Ability to write code in languages such as Javascript
- Ability to debug user code snippets
- Customer-first consultative approach
- Ability to lead technical conversations with engineering, operations, and treasury stakeholders
- Strong technical writing skills
- Working knowledge of institutional money movement and payment rail integration
- Familiarity with ISO 20022 is a plus
- Familiarity with bank cores and digital banking platforms is a plus
- Experience with stablecoins or blockchain-driven use cases in regulated finance is a significant plus
Responsibilities
- Guide bank engineering teams through end-to-end API integration
- Advise on authentication, idempotency, webhook handling, errors, retries, and reconciliation
- Build and demonstrate proof-of-concept integrations
- Create bank-specific test plans
- Guide teams through sandbox workflows
- Advise on integrating the Cari Wallet into digital banking channels
- Advise on customer and wallet provisioning and account state handling
- Enable bank administrators and operations teams to use the Cari Hub portal
- Run discovery and develop bank-specific integration plans
- Resolve integration issues and own technical escalations through production go-live
- Bring integration feedback to Product and Engineering
- Create reference integrations, guides, runbooks, test plans, and knowledge-base materials
