Antimetal is building an autonomous layer between engineering teams and their production systems. Specialized agents provide proactive monitoring, incident triage, operational intelligence, and customizable automation, including root-cause investigation, proposed fixes, pull requests, and approved production workflows. About the Role
You will build AI agent-powered products across orchestration, data pipelines, APIs, and user interfaces; design agentic workflows, engineer retrieval systems, ship end-to-end features, partner with platform and research, and refine products with customers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in full-stack, product, or AI engineering roles
- Production experience with LLMs or agent-based systems
- Experience with orchestration, prompting, tool use, and retrieval
- Strong experience in TypeScript, React, Postgres, and NestJS
- Understanding of evaluations, latency, error handling, and streaming in AI production
- Experience owning projects end-to-end in a startup environment
- Experience with cloud infrastructure including AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, or Terraform is a bonus
- Experience building retrieval or search systems is a bonus
Responsibilities
- Design and build agentic workflows for production incidents
- Engineer context and retrieval systems
- Ship product features from backend data models to React interfaces
- Partner with platform and research teams
- Take ownership of ambiguous projects
- Break projects into milestones and orchestrate delivery
- Work directly with customers to refine features and validate product fit
