About the Role
KAST is seeking a Product Director to own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for its global Fiat and Payments domain. The role covers banking integrations, payment rails, fiat on/off ramps, local payment methods, payouts, card funding, and global money movement infrastructure, while partnering cross-functionally and mentoring Product Managers.
Requirements
- 8+ years of Product Management experience with significant experience in fiat, payments, banking, fintech, or financial infrastructure.
- Deep understanding of payment ecosystems, including bank transfers, cards, payouts, and alternative payment methods.
- Proven track record delivering complex products involving multiple external partners and integrations.
- Experience building products across multiple jurisdictions and regulatory environments.
- Familiarity with payment rails such as ACH, SEPA, Faster Payments, PIX, SPEI, and UPI.
- Strong analytical, strategic, and execution skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Comfort operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments with a high degree of ownership.
- Experience with crypto, stablecoins, wallets, or digital asset infrastructure is nice to have.
- Experience in system architecture for scalability is nice to have.
- People management experience is nice to have.
Responsibilities
- Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Fiat and Payments globally.
- Lead development of payment products including bank integrations, local payment methods, on/off ramps, payouts, and card funding flows.
- Partner with Engineering, Compliance, Operations, Finance, and external providers to deliver scalable payment infrastructure.
- Drive expansion into new markets and payment ecosystems.
- Manage relationships with banking partners, payment processors, and fintech infrastructure providers.
- Define and track metrics including conversion, payment success rates, transaction costs, and operational efficiency.
- Mentor Product Managers and help scale the product organization while remaining hands-on.
