About the Role
You will partner with a cross-functional squad from discovery through launch and iteration. You will research member needs, create prototypes and high-fidelity designs, use and improve the design system, and measure the impact of experiences.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience designing digital web and mobile products in a product design or UX role
- A portfolio or case study demonstrating product thinking, user experience, interaction design, visual design, process, and measurable impact
- Ability to identify when research is needed and run moderated user sessions
- Experience designing complex products and collaborating with product and engineering peers
- Understanding of the end-to-end design process from ideation to launch
- Ability to collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot technical issues and ensure performance and quality standards
- Proficiency in Figma
- Understanding of design systems and accessibility
Responsibilities
- Partner with a cross-functional squad throughout the product lifecycle, from discovery to launch and iteration
- Research, design, and deliver engaging mobile and web experiences
- Evolve design concepts from early prototypes to high-fidelity mock-ups
- Understand member needs through user research, prior insights, and usage analytics
- Estimate design effort, track OKRs, and measure experience impact
- Collaborate with UX Research and UX Writing to address member needs
- Use and contribute to the Tide Design System to create consistent experiences
