About the Role
Lead and own product design at thirdweb across developer and end-user experiences. Define product direction and design philosophy, maintain a cohesive style guide and visual language, solve UX challenges, collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams, and mentor a small design team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product design experience for developer-focused applications, including at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Deep experience with design tools such as Figma and a strong portfolio of complex application designs
- Executive presence and ability to collaborate with senior leaders
- Ability to solve complex UX challenges
- Strong interest in and knowledge of web3
- Curiosity and appetite for learning beyond direct expertise
- Self-starter capable of solving ambiguous UX problems
- Ability to make calculated tradeoffs for customer and business needs
Responsibilities
- Lead product design for the entire thirdweb product stack
- Own and champion the overall design philosophy and approach
- Collaborate with product management and engineering to define product direction and user experiences
- Identify user experience pain points and develop elegant solutions
- Create and maintain a cohesive style guide and consistent design language
- Develop visual iconography across the product
- Collaborate on customer challenges, new features, and learnings from misses
- Communicate with customers to assist with thirdweb integrations
- Stay current on web3, UI/UX, and competitive trends
- Mentor and lead a small team of designers
