About the Role
You will own the technical architecture and delivery of Android and iOS Trading Bot experiences, while contributing to Copy Trading. You will lead large technical initiatives, improve code quality, stability, and performance, shape technical solutions with product stakeholders, and mentor engineers. You will also help integrate AI into product scenarios and engineering workflows.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building and shipping production Android or iOS applications.
- Staff or Principal-level Android or iOS expertise.
- Deep Kotlin knowledge.
- Strong knowledge of multi-module architecture, dependency constraints, binary compatibility, and platform performance.
- Experience leading mid-sized to large projects end to end.
- Experience raising architecture and engineering-quality standards in a large, legacy-heavy codebase.
- Technical strategy and business sense.
- Trading or fintech client-side experience, including order placement, market data, and asset management.
- Ability to influence, mentor, provide design guidance, and build cross-team alignment.
- Current right to work in Singapore without requiring visa sponsorship from OKX.
Responsibilities
- Own the technical architecture and delivery of the Android and iOS Trading Bot codebase.
- Contribute to Copy Trading and improve code quality, stability, and performance across strategy workflows.
- Lead technical initiatives including Kotlin and Swift to Rust and UniFFI migration, modularization, and binary-compatibility work.
- Reduce crash, ANR, and startup-performance hotspots.
- Shape technical solutions during product requirement discussions and protect performance, stability, and user experience.
- Drive the Trading Bot roadmap with product and business stakeholders.
- Refine the technical architecture and develop engineering capabilities through training and knowledge-sharing.
- Mentor engineers and raise the team's technical proficiency.
- Explore AI integration in business scenarios to drive product and technology innovation.
