About the Role
You will maintain network fabrics and topologies across AI datacenters, support deployed internal networks, resolve hardware, link, and performance issues, and triage scale-up, scale-out, and front-end network problems. You will also collaborate with architecture, systems, software, and infrastructure engineers to optimize the full network stack.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, or equivalent experience in Network Engineering, Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 9+ years of hands-on network engineering experience
- 3+ years supporting networking in AI or hyperscale datacenters
- Knowledge of RDMA, ROCEv2, or InfiniBand
- Knowledge of lossless networking, congestion control, PDF, ECN, and DCQCN
- Experience operating 400G and 800G network fabrics
- Familiarity with optical transceivers and physical-layer networking challenges
- Experience sustaining non-blocking, multi-tier CLOS networks
- Experience troubleshooting BGP, OSPF, and VXLAN
- Cross-functional collaboration skills
- Hands-on NetDevOps experience with Terraform or Ansible
- Scripting skills using Python, Go, or JSON
- Experience with network hardware from Broadcom, Arista, Cisco, or Pensando
- Knowledge of gNMI, sFlow, NetFlow, Redfish, and Prometheus telemetry
Responsibilities
- Maintain network fabrics and topologies across AI datacenters
- Collaborate with network architecture throughout design and deployment
- Support deployed internal network fabrics
- Escalate hardware, link, and performance issues
- Support customer network fabric escalations
- Triage scale-up, scale-out, and front-end network topology issues
- Automate network configuration and state management
- Build custom network automation and internal tools
- Detect congestion events, microbursts, and defective network hardware
