About the Role

You will architect, build, and maintain highly performant, interactive frontends for trading web applications. You will own new features and improve existing ones, optimize the app for speed (especially on mobile), and integrate real-time data streams. You will ensure code is clean, maintainable, and well documented, and handle websocket-based data flows and complex frontend challenges. You will make technical decisions about frontend architecture, tooling, and feature design in close collaboration with leadership.

Requirements

• Founder, First Engineer, or Lead experience at a significant DeFi project using React/NextJS, TypeScript, and Jotai
• Experience owning the frontend of a real-time, highly interactive trading platform
• Proven ability to work independently and take initiative
• Experience making key frontend decisions with leadership and founders
• Expertise in creating fast, dynamic, and optimized web interfaces
• Experience with real-time data handling and WebSocket management
• Strong communication skills
• Interest in DeFi and cryptocurrency

Responsibilities
