About the Role

Bring up first silicon, design and debug bare-metal C and C++ validation tests on FPGA or emulator platforms, deploy tests on first silicon, develop Python automation and regression suites, analyze failures, improve validation infrastructure, and guide other engineers.

Requirements

  • Understanding of ML applications and workloads
  • Strong bare-metal or embedded C/C++ experience
  • Experience with post-silicon validation in digital ASIC environments
  • Python skills
  • Linux skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Analytical and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to identify root causes across teams and programming languages
  • Excellent communication skills
  • 10+ years of experience
  • Experience building and leading multi-site teams
  • Driver-level experience with PCIe, Ethernet, LPDDR, DDR, HBM, I2C, I3C or SPI
  • Knowledge of PLLs, high-speed PHYs and IC control or communication protocols
  • Experience with Arm CPUs, system IP and debug tools
  • Experience with AMBA protocols
  • Experience in characterization, failure analysis, test development or statistical analysis

Responsibilities

  • Plan and design silicon validation tests
  • Develop and debug bare-metal C/C++ tests on FPGA or emulator platforms
  • Deploy validation tests on first silicon
  • Develop automated Python test frameworks and regression suites
  • Collaborate with engineers across disciplines
  • Implement improvements to test methodologies
  • Analyze test results
  • Identify and debug failures and defects
  • Contribute to test and validation infrastructure
  • Provide feedback to architects
