About the Role
You will own flight-critical avionics, circuits, and subsystems for V-BAT and its support equipment. You will lead hardware development from concept through validation and manufacturing deployment, drive PCB design, improve reliability in harsh environments, lead technical reviews, manage delivery milestones, and mentor engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years of industry experience as an Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities
- Own flight-critical avionics designs for V-BAT
- Own circuit and subsystem design for V-BAT and support equipment
- Lead design, verification, and manufacturing deployment
- Mentor engineers and provide technical feedback
- Harden designs for shock, vibration, radiation, high altitude, and high-reliability environments
- Own hardware development from concept through testing and validation
- Drive PCB layout and design for power density, EMI, thermal performance, and manufacturability
- Design for safety, manufacturability, and reliability
- Collaborate with mechanical, embedded, software, supply chain, test automation, production, and aircraft functions
- Lead cross-functional design reviews
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and technical milestones
- Define technical product requirements and features
