About the Role
You will bring up first silicon, design and debug validation tests in bare-metal C and C++ on FPGA or emulator platforms, deploy tests on first silicon, develop Python automation and regression suites, analyse failures, improve validation infrastructure and guide other engineers.
Requirements
- Understanding of ML applications and workloads
- Strong bare-metal or embedded C/C++ experience
- Experience with post-silicon validation in digital ASIC environments
- Python skills
- Linux skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Analytical and diagnostic skills
- Ability to identify root causes across teams and programming languages
- Excellent communication skills
- 5 to 10 years’ experience
- Experience building and leading multi-site teams
- Driver-level experience with PCIe, Ethernet, LPDDR, DDR, HBM, I2C, I3C or SPI
- Knowledge of PLLs, high-speed PHYs and IC control or communication protocols
- Experience with Arm CPUs, system IP and debug tools
- Experience with AMBA protocols
- Experience in characterization, failure analysis, test development or statistical analysis
Responsibilities
- Plan and design silicon validation tests
- Develop and debug bare-metal C/C++ tests on FPGA or emulator platforms
- Deploy validation tests on first silicon
- Develop automated Python test frameworks and regression suites
- Collaborate with engineers across disciplines
- Implement improvements to test methodologies
- Analyse test results
- Identify and debug failures and defects
- Contribute to test and validation infrastructure
- Provide feedback to architects
