About the Role
You will profile AI workloads to identify execution bottlenecks and define CPU performance requirements. You will drive the microarchitecture of custom RISC-V CPU cores, balance performance, power, and area targets, design custom instructions, and collaborate on hardware-software co-design for AI compute.
Requirements
- 10+ years of expertise in CPU performance modeling and microarchitecture design
- Knowledge of computational and memory bottlenecks in modern AI workloads and large language models
- Ability to architect custom instruction set extensions and validate performance gains against real-world workloads
- Familiarity with open-source RISC-V cores or AI-based agentic workflows is preferred
- Eligibility to access U.S. export-controlled technology
