About the Role
You'll be the first point of contact for customers and agents. Under the supervision of the Premium Cash Officer, you'll manage daily reconciliation of transactions in a Premium Agency based in DRC or upcountry, support liquidity needs, answer questions about Wave products and the app, record cash transactions accurately, and report discrepancies or fake bills.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a cashier in cash management, reconciliation, liquidity management, cash handling, or delivery
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or equivalent
- Strong proficiency in French
- Previous front-office customer service or banking-sector experience
- Vigilance, attention to detail, and strong integrity
- Work authorization in DRC
- English and a local language are advantageous
- Knowledge of Wave products is an added value
Responsibilities
- Help agents nearby with liquidity needs, including deposits and withdrawals
- Support agent and client needs regarding Wave's offer, account opening, system operation, app, and physical card
- Maintain daily reconciliation of premium points
- Ensure cash management transactions are correctly recorded in the treasury system
- Request sufficient funds promptly to rebalance with agents and clients
- Report discrepancies or challenges to the Premium Cash Officer
- Report fake bills to leadership
