About the Role
You'll be the first point of contact for our customers and agents. Working under the supervision of the Premium Cash Officer, you'll manage the daily reconciliation of transactions in our Premium Agency based in Bamako or the upcountry. You'll help agents with their liquidity needs, support agents and clients with questions about Wave's offer and app, keep cash management transactions accurately recorded, and flag any discrepancies or fake bills to leadership.
Requirements
- 2+ years experience as a cashier in cash management, reconciliation, liquidity management, cash handling, or delivery
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or equivalent
- Strong proficiency in French
- Previous experience in front-office customer service or in the banking sector
- Be very vigilant, detail-oriented, and have strong integrity
- Knowing Wave products is an added value
- Speaking English and a local language is an added advantage
- Work authorization in DRC is required
Responsibilities
- Help agents nearby with liquidity needs (deposits and withdrawals)
- Support agent/client needs (Wave's offer, opening accounts, how the system works, the app, physical card…)
- Maintain daily reconciliation of premium points
- Ensure that all cash management transactions are correctly recorded in the treasury system
- Request promptly sufficient funds to ensure rebalance with agents/clients
- Report any discrepancies or challenges encountered to the Premium Cash Officer
- Report fake bills to Leadership
