About the Role
You will check facility and collateral documentation against approved credit terms and complete pre activation checks before facilities are activated. You will maintain system records monitor outstanding requirements covenants valuations and insurance renewals and process facility cancellations and mortgage redemptions. You will prepare escalation reports support automation projects perform user acceptance testing and improve operating procedures. You will also review work quality and guide colleagues on standards and requirements.
Requirements
- University degree in Business Accountancy or Banking and Finance
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar field
- Knowledge of banking and financial services in Consumer or Wealth Management banking is advantageous
- Good understanding of credit control processes and risks
- Experience delivering projects including user acceptance testing
- Strong interpersonal communication and teamwork skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications Excel Access and PowerPoint
- Analytical and meticulous approach with attention to detail
- Ability to organize prioritize and manage multiple tasks independently under pressure
- Self driven and adaptable attitude
Responsibilities
- Check facility and collateral documents against approved credit terms
- Complete pre activation checks before activating credit facilities
- Follow up with law firms on security document registration and perfection
- Update systems for credit facility activations and revisions
- Monitor outstanding documents covenants revaluations and collateral insurance renewals
- Prepare escalation reports
- Process credit facility cancellations and mortgage redemptions
- Collaborate on process automation and digitization improvements
- Provide user story requirements and perform user acceptance testing
- Review work quality and guide colleagues
- Review and update standard operating procedures and process guidelines
