About the Role
You will provide technical leadership and end-to-end ownership for ML-first behavior prediction and planning systems. You will develop trajectory-prediction modules, guide architectural decisions, establish scalable software and infrastructure foundations, and mentor engineers. You will collaborate with perception, planning, and research leaders on training data, ML planners, and advanced models.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field
- Proven technical leadership in complex projects, engineering mentorship, and architectural direction
- Proven experience shipping production ML software in complex real-world environments
- Expertise in modeling, input pipelines, evaluation, deployment, or model optimization
- Experience with the end-to-end development cycle of deep learning models
- 3+ years of experience building production software using modern software practices
- Fluency in Python and intermediate experience in C++
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical roadmap, system architecture, and execution for ML algorithms that generate driving trajectories
- Drive architecture reviews and build scalable software and infrastructure foundations for behavior ML development
- Mentor and guide engineers
- Collaborate with perception, planning, research, and cross-functional leadership on models and techniques
