About the Role

You will design and analyze power delivery networks for digital and analog SoC domains. You will model regulators, simulate supply-rail behavior, extract PCB and package impedance profiles, perform lab measurements, and support layout, documentation, and system-level power-integrity studies.

Requirements

  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in power delivery and power-integrity analysis for high-performance CPUs and compute SoCs
  • Proficiency with PowerSI, PowerDC, IDEM, H-Spice, and Keysight ADS
  • Experience with DC-DC converter design
  • Experience with PCB design and power-integrity layout considerations
  • Problem-solving and debugging skills for power-integrity issues
  • Knowledge of 2D, 2.5D, or 3D packaging technologies and PDN challenges
  • Familiarity with oscilloscopes and network analyzers
  • Proficiency in Skill, TCL, Python, or MATLAB for automation and post-processing

Responsibilities

  • Design and analyze power delivery networks for digital and analog SoC domains
  • Model regulator switching ripple and transient response to support component selection
  • Extract PCB and package impedance profiles and generate N-port models
  • Perform time-domain and frequency-domain simulations of supply rails
  • Conduct lab measurements using programmable loads and oscilloscopes
  • Collaborate with hardware designers, layout engineers, and system integrators on PDN improvements
  • Document analysis results, test procedures, and design recommendations
  • Review PDN layout constraints and provide feedback based on simulation and measurement data
  • Support system-level power-integrity tradeoff studies and architectural evaluations
