About the Role
You will oversee natural-gas turbines and generation equipment, analyze system performance, troubleshoot and maintain equipment, improve energy efficiency, ensure regulatory compliance, investigate incidents, and mentor junior engineers and technicians.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of power-generation experience focused on natural-gas plants, turbines, or similar high-reliability energy systems
- Understanding of turbine operations, control systems, and industrial power distribution
- Experience troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical issues
- Familiarity with safety protocols, environmental regulations, ASME, and IEEE standards
Responsibilities
- Oversee natural-gas turbine and power-generation operations
- Monitor and analyze power-generation systems
- Resolve issues to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency
- Integrate power systems with datacenter infrastructure
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade turbines, generators, and control systems
- Develop energy-efficiency and cost-reduction strategies
- Lead root-cause analysis for power incidents
- Ensure regulatory compliance
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians
