About the Role
You will design, execute, and analyze experiments and take end-to-end ownership of a research project in biological design. You will publish first-author papers, present at conferences, develop collaborators, mentor researchers and students, maintain rigorous records, develop protocols, and support shared lab infrastructure.
Requirements
- Doctorate in a relevant life sciences or engineering field
- Written and verbal communication

- Track record of creative, high-impact research demonstrated through publications, patents, tools, or software
Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and analyze experiments
- Lead an independent research project within the lab’s scientific focus
