About the Role
You will develop and own requirements for autonomous vehicle motion planning, motion control, and low-level vehicle control. You will use analytical methods and physical and simulated data to verify requirements, model risk and uncertainty, and advance vehicle-dynamics simulation.
Requirements
- Autonomous-vehicle systems knowledge
- Motion planning, motion control, vehicle dynamics, and actuator-control knowledge
- Physics and control-systems knowledge
- Systems engineering and verification and validation knowledge
- ISO 26262 knowledge
- Python or other programming-language skills
- Risk modeling and safety-metric development experience
- Requirements decomposition experience
- Vehicle-dynamics simulation and tool-development experience
Responsibilities
- Create autonomous-vehicle requirements using analytical and numerical methods
- Define motion planning, motion control, and low-level vehicle-control requirements
- Use physical and simulated data to inform and verify requirements
- Advance vehicle-dynamics simulation
- Translate safety goals into verifiable functional and technical requirements
- Model risk and system uncertainty
