About the Role
You will develop tooling and automation for distributed data stores using Python or Go. You will design and optimize scalable data systems, implement partitioning and sharding strategies, troubleshoot production performance issues, and help maintain reliable infrastructure. You will also participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation once or twice monthly.
Requirements
- Experience with distributed data stores such as Cassandra Redis or ClickHouse
- Programming experience with Python or Go
- Knowledge of partitioning replication consistency models and the CAP theorem
- Knowledge of sharding and consistent hashing
- Experience troubleshooting large-scale production distributed systems
- Willingness to participate in on-call support
