About the Role
You will own manufacturing output, quality, uptime, and on-time delivery at the Phoenix-area facility. You will improve production lines, control product acceptance, maintain site readiness and regulatory compliance, manage contractors and vendors, and develop the manufacturing workforce and staffing plan.
Requirements
- Experience running a high-volume discrete manufacturing facility
- Experience managing a large workforce through a third-party staffing provider
- Experience taking a facility from construction handover through production ramp-up
- Experience designing production systems, takt times, line balancing, standard work, and visual management
- Knowledge of OSHA 1910, NFPA 70E, and environmental permit compliance
Responsibilities
- Own production throughput, quality, uptime, and on-time shipments
- Drive continuous improvement and corrective actions across production lines
- Hold final product acceptance authority
- Maintain readiness of tooling, materials, equipment, utilities, and floor layout
- Manage contractor, vendor, OSHA, NFPA 70E, and air-quality permit compliance
- Build and develop the on-site manufacturing team
- Own workforce planning, shift structure, skill mix, and certification tracking
