About the Role
You will establish performance testing strategies and plans, validate API, batch, and asynchronous systems, analyze the impact of architecture changes, identify bottlenecks, develop improvements, verify stability before production deployment, lead test data and environment preparation, and report results to stakeholders.
Requirements
- 10 or more years of performance testing and quality verification experience
- Experience leading work in a large-scale traffic environment
- Understanding of MSA, API Gateway, batch, Kafka, cache, and database architectures
- Ability to analyze synchronous and asynchronous bottlenecks
- RDB performance verification and analysis of queries, indexes, lock contention, and connection pool issues
- Ability to interpret TPS, latency, GC, and database execution plans using APM and monitoring tools
- Proficiency designing and performing tests with JMeter or LoadRunner
- Communication and reporting skills for working with development, DBA, infrastructure, security, and other stakeholders
- Experience in high-availability and high-traffic environments is preferred
- Experience verifying the performance of Kafka, MSK, Redis, WebSocket, FCM, KMS, and external API integrations is preferred
- Experience leading performance improvement and tuning projects is preferred
- Experience with deployment verification, incident reproduction, recovery scenarios, and circuit breaker policies is preferred
- Experience testing and estimating resources in AWS infrastructure is preferred
