About the Role
You will configure, administer, test, and improve Workday modules while providing day-to-day systems support. You will investigate issues, maintain documentation and data quality, assist with integrations and data loads, create reports, support releases and projects, coordinate with stakeholders, and prepare training materials and user guidance.
Requirements
- Have Workday configuration and administration experience across one or two modules such as Core HCM, Compensation, Time and Absence, Talent Management, or Recruiting
- Have experience supporting Workday enhancements, configuration changes, testing, and issue resolution
- Understand Workday business processes, reporting, and data structures
- Hands-on experience with Workday Report Writer and EIBs
- Have experience with testing cycles, release management, or structured change control
- Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills
- Communicate system requirements and issues clearly to People stakeholders
- Exposure to calculated fields and security concepts is desirable
- Workday certification or formal Workday training is desirable
Responsibilities
- Configure, test, and optimise assigned Workday modules
- Build and maintain business-process steps, condition rules, calculated fields, and module configurations
- Prepare and execute test scenarios for changes, releases, and defect fixes
- Support tenant management, release testing, validation, and issue resolution
- Follow governance, security, and documentation standards
- Respond to operational queries and support Workday and related People Systems
- Investigate system issues and enhancement requests
- Identify root causes and escalate complex issues
- Maintain configuration, testing, resolution, and user documentation
- Support integrations and data loads using EIBs
- Validate data and resolve errors affecting integrations and system updates
- Coordinate with IT, vendors, and internal stakeholders on data flows and issues
- Create and maintain standard and custom Workday reports
- Perform data-quality checks, reporting extracts, and basic analytics
- Troubleshoot reporting queries and improve data accuracy
- Support Workday projects through configuration, testing, documentation, validation, and post-go-live activities
- Report progress, risks, and issues to senior stakeholders
- Create training materials and user guidance
