About the Role

The Painter applies industrial paint finishes to metals and manufactured products using spray equipment or hand-painting methods. The role includes mixing paints and solutions, baking and polishing finishes, and monitoring drying to achieve required aesthetic and protective results.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 1 year of general work experience
  • Ability to lift, lower, push, and pull items up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for 8 hours or more daily
  • Detail-oriented approach
  • Willingness to learn and take on additional roles
  • Required participation in a drug and alcohol program
  • Ability to complete a respirator medical evaluation

Responsibilities

  • Operate spray-painting equipment to apply industrial finishes
  • Apply paint by hand when needed
  • Mix paints and other solutions
  • Complete finishing processes using baking, polishing, or other materials
  • Monitor drying to ensure desired results
