About the Role
You will own new-product introduction from concept selection through production ramp for power and cooling equipment. You will manage qualification gates, supplier design engagement, prototype builds, reliability testing, factory and site acceptance testing, production handoffs, and cross-functional delivery risks.
Requirements
- 8+ years of engineering experience in power electronics, electrical equipment, or industrial energy systems
- 4+ years in NPI, product development, or product engineering
- Experience with power or cooling equipment
- Knowledge of qualification standards including UL, IEEE, IEC, and NFPA standards

Responsibilities
- Own NPI programs from concept selection through production ramp
- Define gate schedules, exit criteria, and risk registers
- Translate site requirements into supplier product specifications
- Lead design-for-manufacturing and design-for-test reviews
- Plan and run prototype and pilot builds
- Execute qualification, factory acceptance, and site acceptance testing
- Transfer qualified products and control plans to production teams
- Run FMEA and define reliability targets
- Coordinate NPI schedules with campus delivery schedules
- Track supplier readiness and resolve technical risks
