About the Role

You will build and operate monitoring, telemetry, device-control, and diagnostic tooling for wireless networks. You will design and commission wireless and wireline links, analyze performance, lead incident response, manage configuration changes, develop sites, and create reliable runbooks for field and on-call operations.

Responsibilities

  • Build and operate network monitoring, mapping, telemetry, alerting, and engineering interfaces
  • Write device-control and protocol integrations for network equipment
  • Develop AI-assisted diagnostic and chat-ops tooling
  • Manage radio and link configurations as code in Git
  • Build path-performance measurement and analysis tooling
  • Research regulatory, spectrum, and structure datasets for route and site strategy
  • Design and evaluate wireless paths and link budgets
  • Run frequency studies and prior coordination for licensed links
  • Engineer DWDM, dark-fiber, cross-connect, and precision-timing infrastructure
  • Commission wireless links and verify post-cutover performance
  • Lead incident triage, fault isolation, spectrum analysis, and performance reviews
  • Drive incidents through resolution and postmortems
  • Plan live-network changes and external outage notifications
  • Write runbooks and field-work instructions
  • Identify and develop new network sites
