About the Role
You will deploy and validate data-center network infrastructure, including switches, optics, and cabling. You will troubleshoot physical and logical connectivity, manage hardware logistics, document deployment results, and support incidents and break-fix work. You will coordinate with operational and engineering partners and travel to onsite deployments.
Requirements
- Hands-on data-center network engineering experience
- Knowledge of EVPN/VXLAN, BGP, and CLOS fabrics
- Ability to troubleshoot physical and logical network layers using OTDR traces, insertion loss, BGP sessions, and complex topologies
- Technical documentation and cross-functional communication skills
- Ability to travel 50 to 60% for onsite deployments
- AI fabric turn-up experience, configuration management, automation tooling, or vendor certifications
Responsibilities
- Deploy and validate data-center network infrastructure
- Configure switches, install optics, coordinate cabling, and complete deployments
- Troubleshoot optical-layer and connectivity issues
- Manage device staging, rack and stack coordination, RMA, inventory, and vendor shipments
- Maintain cutsheets, as-builts, validation results, and deployment playbooks
- Provide incident response, troubleshooting, and break-fix support
