You will architect deterministic simulation software, conduct verification and validation studies, analyze performance against test and vendor data, collaborate across engineering disciplines, improve reusable simulation tooling, and guide junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Aerospace, Robotics, or a related field
- 7+ years of simulation software-development experience with C++ competency, or exceptional demonstrated depth
- Understanding of rigid-body dynamics, kinematics, and dynamic-system physics
- Experience developing or integrating simulation systems for robotics, aerospace, or other complex dynamic systems
- Ability to debug complex build and runtime environments
- Experience with simulation verification and validation
- Eligibility to obtain a Secret Clearance, requiring U.S. citizenship
Responsibilities
- Develop C++ infrastructure and models for autonomous aircraft simulation
- Serve as a subject matter expert in aerospace and software engineering
- Architect deterministic, high-performance simulation software
- Lead verification and validation studies for models and model tooling
- Collaborate with autonomy, embedded, GNC, and test engineering to mirror aircraft behavior and mission scenarios
