About the Role
You will operate and maintain the GoAnywhere MFT platform supporting critical file flows. You will monitor transfers investigate failures resolve incidents manage encryption keys certificates and access controls support application integrations tune workflows automate routine work maintain runbooks and participate in the on-call rota.
Requirements
- One to three years of experience in technical operations infrastructure integration or support engineering with production systems
- Linux or Unix and Windows administration experience
- Confident command-line use across Linux or Unix and Windows
- Scripting experience with Python Shell bash or ksh or PowerShell
- Knowledge of SFTP FTPS and HTTPS file transfer protocols
- Knowledge of PGP or GPG encryption SSH keys and SSL/TLS
- Experience handling flat files CSV fixed-width formats and encrypted archives
- Ability to verify file integrity end to end
- Analysis and problem-solving ability for diagnosing complex workflows
- Excellent written and verbal English
- Hands-on GoAnywhere MFT or equivalent experience is a bonus
- Experience in fintech financial services or another regulated industry is a bonus
- Exposure to 24/7 production support is a bonus
- Familiarity with ITSM tooling and formal change and incident management is a bonus
- Exposure to cloud platforms particularly GCP is a bonus
Responsibilities
- Maintain the availability and performance of the GoAnywhere MFT platform
- Monitor transfer jobs investigate failures and resolve incidents
- Drive permanent fixes for recurring transfer problems
- Support application teams integrating with MFT services
- Review workflow designs against best practices
- Manage PGP GPG and SSH keys SSL certificates and user access controls
- Tune and optimize file transfer jobs
- Automate routine operational work
- Maintain documentation and runbooks for operational security and recovery processes
- Follow incident problem and change management processes
- Participate in the on-call rota providing 24/7 coverage
