About the Role
You will provide mental health clinical services to maternal care patients through telemedicine. You will conduct 1:1 patient encounters with the potential to offer group therapy in the future, deliver live and asynchronous patient support, and apply evidence-based techniques proven safe and effective in the perinatal space. You will use technology to augment and improve patient education and outcomes, and you will build systems and processes that provide safe, effective care and strengthen engagement with the patient population.
Requirements
- Licensure as LCSW, LPC, or LMFT
- Licensed to practice in the state of New Mexico
- Active registration in New Mexico Medicaid is a plus
- 3+ years in active patient care
- Previous work in telemedicine
- Available for phone and video meetings on an intermittent basis
- Fluent in English; additional fluency in Spanish highly preferred
- Unrestricted and independent U.S. work authorization
Responsibilities
- Provide telemedicine-based treatment of perinatal mood disorders for pregnant and postpartum patients
- Conduct 1:1 patient encounters with potential future group therapy options
- Deliver live and asynchronous patient support
- Utilize evidence-based techniques proven effective and safe in the perinatal space
- Apply technology to augment and improve patient education and outcomes
- Build systems and processes to provide safe and effective care and improve patient engagement
