About the Role
You will support the design, implementation, and optimization of compliance programs and transform raw data into actionable insights. You will drive automation of key compliance processes and workflows, experiment with and deploy AI solutions to enhance efficiency, and develop and enhance BSA/AML models such as transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, customer risk rating, and blockchain analytics. You will conduct ad hoc analyses and respond to auditors, regulators, and compliance teams with accuracy and speed, coordinate with cross-functional partners to implement and improve compliance tools and processes, contribute to testing frameworks and documentation, and present findings with appropriate context and visual aids while managing competing priorities.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in a data analytics or data science role
- Strong understanding of blockchain and cryptocurrency
- Experience in the financial services industry or related compliance domains
- Advanced SQL skills including CTEs, window functions, complex joins, and query optimization
- Proficiency with data manipulation and analysis tools such as Looker and advanced Excel/Google Sheets
- Ability to write production-quality queries and operate autonomously to manage competing priorities
- Experience with or strong interest in automation and AI tools
- Technologist mindset and understanding of systems and data flows

- Coordinate with Product and Engineering to implement and improve compliance tools and processes
- Present findings and data insights with appropriate context and visual aids
- Manage competing priorities across strategic projects and urgent ad-hoc requests
