About the Role
Design and build intuitive Looker dashboards that help business users make data-driven decisions. Gather reporting requirements, translate complex data into accessible stories, customise dashboards with HTML and CSS, document solutions, run user training, collaborate with analytics engineers on data models, and contribute to AI-powered insights.
Requirements
- Three or more years of BI development experience with dashboard creation expertise.
- Expert knowledge of Looker and LookML, or a comparable BI tool.
- Strong SQL skills for data analysis and manipulation.
- Understanding of data visualisation best practices and UX design principles.
- Experience translating complex data into clear stories for non-technical audiences.
- Stakeholder communication skills, including requirements gathering and delivery management across multiple stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Design and build intuitive Looker dashboards for business users.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver visualisation solutions.
- Turn complex data into accessible data stories that drive action.
- Customise dashboards using HTML and CSS.
- Produce documentation and run training to help users self-serve data needs.
- Partner with analytics engineers to use underlying data models effectively.
- Contribute to AI agents, co-pilots, and automated insights.
