About the Role

You will translate system requirements into mechanical subsystem designs, create CAD models and drawings, prototype and validate parts and assemblies, maintain documentation, and support pilot builds and production readiness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • 2–5 years of industry experience in mechanical design or product development
  • Proficiency with 3D CAD software
  • Experience creating dimensioned and toleranced 2D drawings
  • Knowledge of mechanical principles, materials, and fabrication techniques
  • Hands-on prototyping and testing experience

Responsibilities

  • Translate system-level requirements into mechanical subsystem designs
  • Design parts and assemblies in NX
  • Create CAD models, 2D drawings, and design documentation
  • Prototype, test, and validate components and assemblies
  • Ensure designs meet functional and DfX requirements
  • Generate and maintain BOMs, test reports, and assembly instructions
  • Collaborate with electrical, systems, software, operations, and manufacturing engineering
  • Support pilot builds and production readiness
