About the Role
You will own PCBA test development and validation from prototype through mass production. You will develop ICT, FCT, and end-of-line diagnostics; define test coverage and hooks; validate fixtures and software; support contract-manufacturer builds; analyze yields; and resolve test failures.
Requirements
- 5+ years of PCBA manufacturing-test experience
- Experience designing ICT and FCT systems
- Experience developing bed-of-nails fixtures and debugging boards
- Knowledge of design for testability
- Experience working with overseas contract manufacturers and test vendors
- Familiarity with test automation, data collection, and reporting
- Ability to read schematics and debug hardware
- Python proficiency for hardware interfacing
- Willingness to travel overseas 40% of the time
Responsibilities
- Own PCBA test-coverage strategy
- Design, validate, and deploy ICT and FCT test fixtures
- Define test hooks, firmware test modes, and diagnostic coverage
- Specify and validate automated test software
- Lead test-system bring-up and debugging at contract manufacturers
- Monitor test yields and drive root-cause analysis
- Resolve board and tester failures
- Scale test processes from EVT through mass production
- Create handoff documentation and support vendors
