About the Role
Lead preparation and review of consolidated financial statements under IFRS, manage group consolidation and audits, analyze group-level results, collaborate with regional finance teams, maintain internal controls and reporting processes, and mentor junior finance professionals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; a Master’s degree is advantageous.
- Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or CA is required.
- Six to eight years of progressive finance or accounting experience, including financial reporting and audit.
- Expert knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
- Experience with digital assets, gaming, or technology sectors is preferred.
- Experience with NetSuite or a similar ERP/accounting system is desirable.
- Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling, pivot tables, and data analysis.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth, or entrepreneurial environment and interest in blockchain, Web3, and digital entertainment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
- Drive group consolidation, including intercompany eliminations, reconciliations, joint ventures, and associates.
- Manage the end-to-end group audit process and coordinate with external auditors.
- Analyze group financial results and provide insights to senior management.
- Partner with regional and entity finance teams to improve reporting consistency and processes.
- Develop and maintain internal controls and group reporting processes for digital assets and revenue recognition.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior finance team members.
