About the Role

Own complex revenue streams and transform deal information into auditable accounting processes. Analyze agreements, apply US GAAP including ASC 606 and ASC 842, guide cross-functional teams, operationalize accounting assessments, lead revenue-related month-end close activities, manage audit support, and improve controls and automation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA required.
  • 5+ years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Deep expertise in US GAAP, ASC 606, and ASC 842.
  • Exceptional contract review and analysis skills.
  • Experience researching technical accounting topics and documenting accounting memos.
  • Experience operationalizing accounting processes and implementing controls.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
  • Experience with Sage Intacct, Stripe, or equivalent ERP and billing systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret complex agreements.
  • Provide US GAAP conclusions for complex revenue streams.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Sales, Sales Operations, Product, and Finance teams.
  • Research and apply relevant GAAP guidance.
  • Document accounting positions and memos.
  • Translate technical accounting assessments into operational processes.
  • Lead revenue-related month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and flux analyses.
  • Prepare documentation for external auditors.
  • Improve internal controls, data integrity, and automation.
